Outdoor advertising
For a company’s advertising to be successful, a presence in the surrounding environment is crucial. This can take the form of a series of visual elements, such as billboard networks and rhythmically positioned advertising structures. It can also involve large-scale illuminated or floodlit structures placed in highly visible locations, as well as illuminated signage on buildings or the commercial premises themselves. Unlike interior advertising, outdoor advertising must primarily contend with the destructive effects of the external environment. It is extremely aggressive towards colors, shapes, and volumes. In a word—it “devours” them if they lack sufficient scale and monumentality. Once the object catches the eye, it must convey its message with a high level of graphic and aesthetic sophistication.
